This book is a very good primer in understanding, identifying, and dealing with terrorists incarcerated within US correctional facilities. Eric Vogt does a good job of simplifying the issue down to basics. This won't give you an all encompassing knowledge of all of the breeds of terror. It will give you simple steps that will provide a foundation. It's written well and the knowledge provided is useful to all disciplines within a jail or prison. Mr. Vogt also provides resources for further study. This is an excellent base upon which to build.I recommend this book to anyone who works in corrections at any level. We won't see a downturn in terrorists being incarcerated anytime soon.

This book met my expectations. It was interesting to read and well documented. I can easily recommend it . My wife enjoyed it too.
As an employee of the Bureau of Prisons, I thought that this book had some great information. We regularly receive training and are kept up-to-date, but any additional training is always beneficial. I recommend this book to all correctional workers!
It is what I expected to read. Great resource for insight and cultural perspectives
This is a good item to have on hand as part of a continuing education library. While it's a good read, I had hoped it would have gone into more depth on the title topic.
I have have worked for 26 years in law enforcement. 14 years with the Bureau of Prisons. Mr. Vogt did an Outstanding job putting this information together. Very easy to read and gives you plenty of needed information. I highly recomend this book not only to the new recruit, but also to the seasoned staff member. It is my opinion that know matter what training you have, you always need to stay abreast and stay informed. This is not only a great training tool for the new staff it is also a excellent refresher course book!
Mr. Vogt, captured the essence of the danger that is lurking behind our prison walls. He aptly identifies the necessary steps to identify and nuteralize these threats. I would recommend for use as training material for Correctional Professionals. I have 26 years behind the walls and would gladly use this materia;.
